EKITI LECTURERS PROTEST OVER NON PAYMENT OF LECTURERS SALARY AND COOPERATIVE DEDUCTION
COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IJERO EKITI lecturers protests early this morning over non payment of salary, and cooperate deduction from the state government.
Our newsmen gathered that no movement in school as the gate and other entrance to the school premises as been blocked.
The strike was as a result of no payment of salaries after Governor Ayodele Fayose received huge amount of money from the Federal Government.
However it was also gathered that the Governor has been deducting money from the staff cooperative. All efforts to hear from the SUG PRO of the school Alao Olamilekan Donald over the incident was not acknowledged as the PRO said he can't say anything and he cant talk on what is happening .
According to the report, the Strike has Officially Started, , they told all the students to vacate the hostel and go home, because the exam date is not certain again!!!
