Twenty seven graduands of Redeemer’s university Ede have graduated with first class division in the tenth convocation ceremony of the university.
The vice chancellor of the university, professor Debo Adeyewa stated this at press conference to herald the activities lined up for the tenth convocation ceremony of the university.
Professor Adeyewa said one hundred and sixty graduated with second class upper and one hundred and seventy eight second class lower while fifty seven graduated with third class and pass.
The vice chancellor noted that Timi of ede,oba munirudeen Adesola laminisa would be bestowed with honorary doctorate in recognition of his contributions to education development.
Professor Adeyewa hinted that the ivory tower would continue to promote excellence. Saying the graduates of the instruction can compete favourably with their counterparts across the globe.
The vice chancellor who used the event to announce the completion of his seven years tenure said his seven years tenure had recorded unprecedented achievements in area of research, innovations and discoveries for overall development of education in the country.
He submitted that the university had received many accolades locally and internationally during his tenure,saying this was manifestation of performance of the university in the last seven years.
The event which would climax on Thursday would witness award of degrees, Diploma and masters degrees as well as PHDs.
